educational and adult education activities
Eva has been involved in various forms of teaching and mentoring for over two decades. She has gained more than a decade’s experience in one-to-one instrumental tuition at the music schools in Trebnje, Kamnik and the Waldorf Music School (oboe, soprano, alto and tenor recorders, chamber music and orchestra). Whilst at the Waldorf Music School, she also taught children with Down’s syndrome, autism (Asperger’s syndrome) and learning difficulties, and developed various techniques and methods for successfully developing musical abilities. Whilst working at the Waldorf Music School, she shifted her focus to teaching music at the Waldorf Primary School, where she devised and successfully implemented (and still implements as a guest teacher) a method of inclusive class and cross-class orchestras, in which recorders play a central role, as they are a compulsory instrument in music lessons within primary school classes. She has also incorporated music into class theatre productions (as accompaniment to the script, a musical scene to set the mood, or as a standalone piece) and other cross-curricular projects. She is also the founder of an inclusive orchestra for adults – Orkestrion – where anyone interested in this kind of musical activity is welcome. Equally successfully – as the conceptual and organisational leader – she applies for various calls for proposals for cultural and arts education (from the City of Ljubljana and others), where, as part of the Pojoča skleda Cultural and Artistic Society, she has carried out a number of different educational projects (in collaboration with Kinodvor – Zvok v podobi, Potepanje papirnatega zmaja, Glavo pokonci), Zvenobjem, POJ/PLEŠI/IGRAJ, Orkestrion - vključujoči orkester, etc.
As part of the Pojoča skleda Cultural and Artistic Society, she and her colleague Uroš Jezdić have already run six orchestral intensive courses for children and adults.
In the autumn of 2026, she is preparing a new programme – a combination of a curriculum for playing the recorder and other musical content (history and theory of music, lectures, etc.). She will also be adding content to her YouTube channel that will be accessible only to subscribers.
